So a few weeks ago there was an uproar in the Liberal Blogworld about Fox Nation, which is kinda like Fox News' own blog site. Their version of Daily Kos, or Drudge or Media Matters I suppose. And on there they have various headlines of the day and various images linking to the stories.
The uproar came about when the following picture was placed on the front page:
And when I saw that I thought that ...yeah it's kinda crazy they ran with that image. They couldn't find a picture of a rifle pointing the other way? But I chalked it up to just unfortunate choices.
However now they've done it AGAIN, after they had been roundly criticized for doing so.
Newshounds has documented time after time after time of Fox News' Fox Nation fomenting fear and anger against those they disagree with, including misleading headlines, inflammatory headlines that have nothing to do with the actual story, and more.
A main topic that is consistently broached is their seemingly fear/anger towards Black people, Muslims and anyone else that they view as different than them. You can find examples here and here among many others.
Is there any wonder that the Southern Poverty Law Center has pointed out that hate crimes are on the rise? Not with groups like Fox News pumping out the hatred of those that they feel are beneath them, and are against them.
